SIDEBAR FAQs

WHAT HOURS I AM ABLE TO RESERVE SIDEBAR?

Sidebar is available for reservation from 4pm-midnight Monday-Friday and noon-midnight Saturday & Sunday. If you would like to hold an event outside of these hours, please inquire!

WHAT COSTS ARE ASSOCIATED TO BOOK THE ROOM FOR THE EVENING?

We do not have a minimum guest count for events in Sidebar, but we do require a food and beverage minimum to be met (before tax and gratuity).

For events held Sunday thru Thursday, a $1,450 minimum on food and beverage sales is required. For events held Friday and Saturday, a $1,750 minimum on food and beverage sales is required.

If the food and beverage minimum is not met, the remaining balance will be billed as a “Room Fee.”

Sidebar minimums are subject to change during Holiday and Peak Seasons. Please inquire for holiday and peak season dates and pricing.

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH FOOD?

At Sidebar we are happy to provide you and your guests with Covell’s Party Platters Menu. Catering options are also available.

CAN I BRING MY OWN DÉCOR?

You are welcome to bring your own décor; however, we do recommend that you visit Sidebar in advance to get an idea of the space and its existing décor. We provide fresh flower arrangements for events as well as votives to give the space that special glow.

If you choose to supplement with your own décor, flowers or lighting, please give us 48 hours advance notice on what you are planning to bring.

WHAT’S THE MUSIC SITUATION?

Sidebar has its own speaker system and iPod dock so please feel free to bring your own playlist or we are happy to provide music for your event. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate live music or a DJ in the space.

IS SIDEBAR AVAILABLE TO RESERVE FOR FILMING OR PHOTO SHOOTS?

Yes. Please contact us for more information.

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME TO RESERVE

To reserve Sidebar please contact us at info@barcovell.com and provide the following information:

  • Desired date for your event

  • Number of guests in your party

  • Any available event details

We will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the details and, if the room is available on the date requested, we will provide you with a Sidebar Reservation Form. Once we receive the completed form, consider it booked!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We require a minimum of seven days’ notice in advance of the event to cancel without penalty. Events cancelled within seven days of the scheduled event will incur a $250 charge to the card on file.
